It feels like forever since we’ve reached out with details about where we’re at and what we’re doing over here at Berlin Optical Expressions. In fact, it has been a few months, and much like you, we’ve been busy planning, and playing it by ear, day-to-day.
We’ve been back in the office with reduced staff for 4 weeks now, and working to meet everyone’s optical needs the best we can under the circumstances. We’ve had just one doctor available as we’ve been gearing back up, but we are thrilled to announce that Dr. Hartnett will be back in the office and seeing patients starting this week!
As things open up and become more predictable, we hope to bring more staff and additional doctors back into the office as soon as possible.
We realize that we are not completely out of the woods yet, and we take the health and welfare of our staff, patients, and customers very seriously. To that end, we are instituting a few common-sense safety measures to keep everyone safe.
Hours: Our hours are limited to 9-5 M-F, and 9-3 on Saturdays. We're seeing one patient every 45 minutes to better ensure optimal social distancing.
Frames: All eyeglass frames in our showroom are cleaned and disinfected after any patient tries them on, and before they are put back on display.
Cleaning: We are constantly and thoroughly cleaning all high-contact surfaces during the day, as well as the usual washing and sanitizing hands and instruments.
Face Coverings: All patients and customers are required to wear a mask at all times will visiting our offices or showroom.
Despite everything we’re dealing with right now, the sun is still shining, our eyes still need professional eye care services, and you still deserve the best service and styles we can offer.
Our doctors and office staff are working harder than ever to meet all your optical needs. Our showroom is still being stocked with new frames and sunglasses all the time, so don’t hesitate to treat yourself; we all deserve a little something special as we come back out into the world, and we can’t wait to see you!
